The Bridge

The Bridge is a cultural knowledge and awareness resource center that utilizes community mentorship and discussions on a wide range of diversity topics. Make sure to sign up for their newsletter and follow them on social media for College of Education events.

Dorsey Leadership Academy

The Dorsey Leadership Academy is designed for underrepresented education students to ensure their success and degree completion. The program offers support, guidance, and mentorship, with an opportunity for an annual scholarship award of up to $8,000, renewable for an additional three years, when requirements are met.

Reflector

The Reflector, located in Townsend Hall, is a computer lab, training facility, hang-out spot and more. The Reflector features 20+ computer workstations, TV collaboration spaces with spots to connect a device for small collaboration meetings, a student break room, and the Mizzou Ed Exchange.

Career Services

The Career Services Office supports students through the entire job search process. Review the job search timeline or resources such as sample cover letters and resumes. Held in March each year, the Missouri Job Opportunities in Education Job Fair (MOJOE) is an annual career fair where 100+ educational employers and graduate programs discuss job opportunities and conduct interviews with students.

Financial Assistance

Scholarships

Each year the College of Education awards over $450,000 in scholarships. All College of Education students are encouraged to fill out the annual Scholarship Application to be considered. Deadlines vary based on status as incoming, transfer, or continuing students. Click here for more information.
