Lynne Brunholtz is an exemplary team member who approaches every interaction with a welcoming smile and a helpful outlook. She provides wisdom, expertise, and guidance when assisting with a variety of tasks. She supports our office in processing hundreds of contracts and payments to key stakeholders who support our student teaching interns. Her careful review and strong communication ensures this process goes smoothly. She is a delight to work with and her leadership and commitment deserves recognition. Her talents are an asset to the College of Education and all who work with her!

Debbie Timpe’s nomination

I would like to nominate Lynne Brunholtz for the College of Education Porter Graham Staff Excellence Award. Lynne is my “go-to” person for anything Fiscal and she has been amazing! Each semester I ask her to pay close to 300 Cooperating Teachers, Seminar Leaders, University Supervisors and Onsite Coordinators. Lynne manages to get it all done in a precise and professional manner and I’m sure this is in addition to her other day-to-day responsibilities. She is quick to respond to every question I have and takes the time to follow up and resolve any issues that may come up. I appreciate all the work Lynne has done for the Office of Field Experiences and I believe she deserves this award.

Sam von Gillern’s nomination

Lynne is an extraordinary member of the LTC Department, and she embodies the values of the College of Education through her constant kindness and support of her colleagues. She supports the professional development of the entire department by facilitating professional travel, the acquisition of resources, and other processes that allow LTC to function and flourish. She is an effective communicator who clearly conveys issues related to finances and financial processes that can be daunting to others. She is patient and kind, even when bombarded with emails, phone calls and other requests. Ultimately, Lynne is a tremendous asset to LTC and the College of Education, as she constantly supports her colleagues in their efforts to conduct high-quality research, teaching, administration, & service.
