Summer Activities Guidelines and COVID Liability Waiver Statement

Please see the message below and attachments from MU HR regarding summer activities for K-12 and Adult students. Please reach out to your director or chair if you have further questions.

Colleagues:

As discussed in our meeting yesterday, MU COVID Incident Command has approved the attached general guidance regarding summer activities for K-12 and Adult (High School Graduates and 18+ years) students on and off the MU campus. As with other events and activities, Incident Command will review all submissions received via the COVID-19 Event Request Form for summer activities exceeding 20 individuals based on this guidance.

In addition, to these general guidelines, Ed Knollmeyer, Assistant Vice President for Management Services & Director of Risk and Insurance Management (RIM) has asked that his office review any participation waivers. Participation waivers should address COVID along with the other risks of participation. RIM can be contacted at risk@umsystem.edu or 573-882-8100. An example COVID statement for liability waivers is attached.
