The Professional Staff Council would like to congratulate the July Porter Graham Staff Excellence Award recipient: Tim Eisenbarth! Tim is Educational Program Coordinator with the Assessment Resource Center.
Megan Wilkinson’s Nomination:
I feel that Tim is deserving of the Porter-Graham Staff award because he represents the values that the College of Education stands for. He always has a smile on his face and is more than willing to offer a helping hand. When I was new to my position, Tim patiently helped me navigate the Course Evaluation process and often fixed the problems that I had created. Tim is a staff member that all faculty and staff can count on and this College would not run as efficiently without him.
Amy Adam’s Nomination:
I don’t work with Tim directly, but he definitely embodies the values of the College of Education with his kindness and willingness to help. When our department was transitioning from one student services staff member to another, he was great about helping the new person with the course evaluation process. Tim is very conscientious as well; he comes upstairs to heat up his lunch and stops by to chat for a couple of minutes, but then he heads right back downstairs to serve his clients. ARC is so fortunate to have him on board, and he is so deserving of the Porter Graham Staff Excellence Award!
Established by former Interim Dean Rose Porter, the Porter Graham Staff Excellence Award celebrates the dedication, resolve, leadership, and overall excellence of individuals making significant contributions to the MU College of Education. Rose Porter has always been a strong advocate for staff, noting that “they keep the place running.” Jill Williams-Graham (M ED 1990) and her husband Dr. Steven Graham, Sr. Associate Vice-President, UM System, joined Dr. Rose Porter and her husband Dr. Michael Porter, recognizing the immense impacts staff have in the running of the college.
