All new teachers in Missouri are required to participate in a beginning teacher assistance program. The Heart of Missouri RPDC is proud to offer a Beginning Teacher Assistance Program that meets DESE’s requirements for ongoing professional development and specifically meets the Missouri Teacher Development Competencies.

Emerging B (Year 2-5 Teachers)

This program provides ongoing, job-embedded, research-based support for new teachers throughout their second-fifth year. The focus continues with engagement strategies, classroom management, professional development plans, and personalized instruction depending on the needs of the teacher.

Registration for the 2022-2023 Emerging B Beginning Teachers Assistance Program Year 2 will open April 1, 2022.
