Dr. Sherri Thomas retired after 31 years in education. Her dissertation focused on Mid-Missouri Middle School Reading Perceptions of Effective Instructional Methods of Reading for African American Adolescent Males. She was 2017 Middle School Principal of the year for the Missouri Association of Secondary Principals, Central Region, Jefferson City’s Zonta Woman of Achievement in 2017, Assistant Principal of the year for the South Central Region in 2010, and South Central Missouri Association of Secondary Principal’s Consummate Professional in 2011.
