Prior to his current role of Pre-Employment Transition Specialist at MU, John Popp worked in public education for 28 years as a Crisis Counselor. John has a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Missouri, as well as a teaching certificate in high school social studies. Throughout his career, John has coached men’s and women’s basketball at multiple levels. In addition to spending time with family and friends, John enjoys camping, traveling, coaching, and guiding people through financial difficulties.
