Joe Kohlburn

Joe Kohlburn earned his MA in Information Science and Learning Technologies from University of Missouri-Columbia in 2013, and has an additional MA in art history from University of Cincinnati (2009). Joe is a practicing academic librarian at Jefferson College, who serves on the Intellectual Freedom Committee of the Missouri Library Association, and various local boards for arts organizations in St. Louis. Joe has previously been an adjunct instructor at University of Kentucky’s iSchool at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and in University of Missouri’s Information Science and Learning Technologies program at the masters level. Joe is currently pursuing his PhD in Information Science and Learning Technologies at University of Missouri, with a focus on information seeking behaviors and information use among activists, library history, and data ethics.
