Diogenes Santos

Diogenes is currently a doctoral student in the School of Information Science and Learning Technologies at the University of Columbia, Missouri. He has worked in IT and education for over 10 years now. On the IT side, he worked as a network engineer for ISPs in Brazil. As an educator, he has experience designing online courses and has taught English, Spanish, and Portuguese. He is currently a research assistant at ITAP supporting international graduate students and postdoctoral scholars at the University of Missouri. His research interests focus on the benefits of Virtual Reality VR for education, specifically for language learning purposes, and adapting existing technology for enhancing teaching/learning.
