Damon Kizzire

Damon Kizzire is a retired Missouri public school educator. He started his career teaching social studies in 1990 and retired in 2019 as a superintendent. His career includes Social Studies Teacher, Special Education Teacher, Process Coordinator, Athletic Director, Assistant Principal, Principal, and Superintendent. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Education at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. He earned his Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Missouri Kansas City. He earned his K-12 Administrative certification from Missouri State University. He earned his Educational Doctorate in Educational Administration and School Leadership from St. Louis University. He started as a Pre-Employment Transition Specialist in 2019. He currently serves high schools in Northeast Missouri.

Damon serves in the following school districts:  Adair County R-I; Adair County R-II; Atlanta; Bevier; Cainsville; Green City; Grundy County; Knox County; LaPlata; Macon; Macon County R-IV New Cambria; Milan; North Mercer; Newtown-Harris; Princeton; Putnam County; Ridgeway; Schuyler County; and Scotland County.
