Amy Ramsdell

Dr. Amy Ramsdell is the Director of the Heart of Missouri Regional Professional Development Center. Amy is a proud mom and educator with more than thirty years experience in the educational field. She has a B.A. in Secondary Teaching (emphasis on Social Studies) from Columbia College, a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Leadership from Lincoln University, as well as an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership / Superintendency from Lincoln University and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Southwest Baptist University.

Amy served in the California R-I school district as a High School teacher for 14 years, as well as another 7 years as an Assistant Principal, Principal, and Director of Instruction and Technology. She then served as a High School Assistant Principal and 1:1 coordinator in the Ozark R-VI school district before finishing her career as the Assistant Superintendent in the Jefferson R-VII school district. Upon retirement, Amy began working for the Heart of Missouri RPDC where she has served schools in the eastern side of the state as a District Continuous Improvement consultant.
