The ReSTEM Institute is a research center focused on K-12 science, engineering, mathematics and integrated STEM education. The institute’s goals are to foster reform of STEM education in K-12 schools, enhance STEM teacher development to support student learning and achievement, develop and disseminate research-based STEM education materials, and empower students to use mathematical, scientific and engineering practices to succeed in school, careers and life.

The institute conducts research, creates research-based products, evaluates STEM programs and projects, and coordinates STEM outreach efforts.
