Mizzou K-12 (MK12) is a K-12 school district housed in the University of Missouri’s College of Education. MK12 serves close to 5,000 high school students and 1,000 middle school students. MK12 students come from 65+ countries.
Mizzou K-12 has a vibrant domestic (and local Missouri) student population. Many domestic students take advantage of the 10 Advanced Placement (AP) courses and dozens of World Language options. The University of Missouri High School runs an active chapter of the National Honor Society and holds an on-site graduation annually.
In 2015 MK12’s international enrollments exploded. Over a period of eighteen months (2015-2016) MK12 doubled its student population. Today, the high school student body is 65% international, diploma seeking students.
Mizzou K-12’s newest program, Middle School Global Leaders (MSGL) is a cutting-edge, interdisciplinary program aimed at fostering critical thinking to solve global issues.. University of Missouri High School graduates consistently outscore their state and national peers on standardized testing and have gone on to do great work at prestigious colleges worldwide.
