The Missouri Prevention Center (MPC) brings community members and researchers from the College of Education together to help schools and families apply techniques that promote social and academic success. Through community outreach, the center’s staff provides parent training and teacher consultation services. Founded in 2007, the center develops, implements, evaluates and disseminates best practices for reducing the prevalence and societal burden of youth aggression and depression using prevention science methods.
