The Hook Center for Educational Renewal focuses on translating research and experience into best practices to help educators more effectively manage and operate schools. The Hook Center focuses on elevating the performance of schools, the practice of educators, and the public policy that supports education. The center provides professional development and training opportunities through conferences, symposiums and networks, as well as consultation services, benchmark data collection and analysis, assessment and evaluation resources, pre-employment transition services, and more.

The Hook Center houses the Missouri Partnership for Educational Renewal (MPER), Missouri Network for Educational Renewal (MNEI), Region 2 State Programs, Pre-Employment Transition Services (PETS) and Network for Educator Effectiveness (NEE).
