My name is Susan German and I have 27 years of experience teaching math and science in the classroom. I currently teach science and computer coding to 8th-grade students in Hallsville, MO, but have experience teaching grades 6 through 12. I hold National Board Certification in AYA Science, Cognitive Coaching, Raspberry Pi, and am a Google Educator Level 1. My degrees include a BS- Ed in Science Education, a B.A. in Chemistry, a Masters in Science Education, and an Educational Specialist in Educational Technology with an emphasis in Learning Systems Design and Development. In Fall 2018, I started as a doctoral student in the School of Information Science and Learning Technology and by Spring 2019, I accepted a graduate research assistantship working with Dr. Johannes Strobel and eMINTS on the Supporting Effective Educator Development grant from the U.S. Department of Education to bring STEM education to rural school districts throughout Missouri and Kansas.
