Laura Curran

  • Pre-ETS Specialist – St. Louis Region Coordinator

Laura Curran is a Pre-Employment Transition Specialist in the St. Louis region where she serves as the Regional Coordinator. Laura’s 30-year career in public education has included roles as middle and high school English teacher, middle and high school counselor, Counseling Department Chair, and district-level Secondary Counseling Curriculum Coordinator. Laura earned master’s degrees in both school counseling and educational administration. Her doctorate is in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis and focuses on school counseling and administration. In addition to working with high school students on their transition to life, Laura teaches graduate-level coursework to emerging school counselors. Laura believes it is a privilege to serve students as they navigate their futures, and an honor to be part of solid regional and statewide teams of educators. Some of Laura’s additional passions include travel with her husband and adult children, cooking, hiking, quilting, and writing.

Laura serves the following school districts:  DeSmet Jesuit High School; EYC Academy; Meramec Valley – Pacific; New Haven; North Saint Francois County; Northwest; St. Clair; St. Francois Borgia; Union; Washington; Webster Groves; and Windsor.
