Soo-Yeon Cho

Soo-Yeon Cho, PH.D., is a senior researcher at the Assessment Resource Center in the MU College of Education. For the last 13 years, Dr. Cho has been a researcher and evaluator on projects funded at the federal, state, and county levels. In that time, she has applied knowledge of statistical methodologies to research projects on a range of important public policy issues. With a passion for research on educational and health disparities, she has worked on all stages of research and evaluation: designing studies, collecting data, analyzing data, and submitting rigorous reports to government agencies and foundations. Over two and a half years in the College of Education (COE), she applied these skills to the CAEP accreditation process for the COE. In addition to being a CAEP accreditation and continuous improvement team member, she also worked on APR (Annual Performance Report for Teacher Preparation Programs, MO State) and Title II reports. She received her Ph.D. in Sociology from University of Missouri – Columbia.
