Tiger Eye Reading Community
The Tiger Eye Reading Room opened its doors in September 2005 as the principal location for the Reflector/College of Education-sponsored children's reading program. This program was created to provide opportunities for pre-service teachers to interact with children and introduce them to books and reading, in addition to showcasing the Reflector's collection of over 600 Award and Honor books.
During 2006, several new programs were created that necessitated the name change to reflect a broader, more global audience, hence the change from the Tiger Eye Reading Room to the Tiger Eye Reading Community.
