Welcome to the United Nations Association of Mid-Missouri
Dear Colleagues:
As a fellow citizen of the global community, I am pleased to invite you to become a member of the new United Nations Association of the USA, Mid-Missouri Chapter. Our Chapter will become the first in Central Missouri. Other Missouri chapters are in St. Louis, Kansas City, and Springfield.
The UNA is a non-profit organization dedicated to building understanding of and support for the ideals and crucial work of the United Nations among the American People. Its educational and humanitarian campaigns include the following projects:
- Teaching students in urban schools.
- Model UN projects.
- Clearing minefields.
- Providing school-based support for children living in HIV/AIDS-affected communities in Africa.
UNA programs stress the importance of nations working together and the need for United States leadership in the United Nations. Maybe most importantly of all, UNA chapters enable people to make global impact at the local level.
To join the Mid-Missouri Chapter of the UNA, please complete the information requested in the attached brochure and send your check for membership dues to:
