- BSCS Middle School Science and Technology was developed especially to match the unique characteristics of middle school students and, more importantly, to meet their educational needs in science. - Foundational Approaches to Science Teaching (FAST) is an interdisciplinary science program designed to meet the developmental needs of adolescents 12- to 15-years old. The program emphasizes basic concepts and methods of the physical, biological, and earth sciences and relates these to practical issues of human use of the environment.

- Prime Science Middle School is a comprehensive program spanning three years of middle school and two years of high school. Each of the five texts is meant to cover a full-year science course and is divided into chapters that are theme-based (e.g., Switching On focuses on electric circuits). The program is built on the spiral curriculum model, so each chapter includes many different concepts and topics which are re-visited three or four times throughout the five years of the course.

- Science and Life Issues (SALI) is an issue-oriented, integrated science course that emphasizes the life/health sciences. This course focuses on four process-oriented components: scientific thinking, personal and societal decision making, science and technology as professions, and science as a predictive activity.

- Event-Based Science is a new way to teach science at the middle school level that follows the Total Engagement Learning SystemTM. Event-Based Science is an award-winning, standards-based program in which newsworthy events establish the relevance of science topics; authentic tasks create the need-to-know more about those topics; and lively interviews, photographs, Web pages, and inquiry-based science activities create a desire to know more about those topics.

High School Biology
- Biology: A Community Context is the an inquiry-based biology curriculum. The text and support materials allow one to create a classroom in which students work both individually and in groups, learning the key concepts of biology in the context of their own lives and community. The unique instructional design encourages them to challenge their assumptions, dig deeply into science issues, and develop new ways of thinking and acting in response to their learning.

High School Earth Science
- Earth System Science in the Community (EarthComm) is an Earth Science curriculum developed by the American Geological Institute (AGI) and supported by the National Science Foundation and donors of the American Geological Institute Foundation. Through EarthComm, AGI focuses attention on the national deficiency in high school Earth Science education (grades 9-12) and on development of a complete high-school Earth Science curriculum.

High School Physical Science
- Active Physics. Usual physics course work over the year is very predictable: Mechanics in the fall, followed by waves in the winter, then electricity and magnetism in the spring. In contrast, Active Physics takes a whole new approach. Keeping the National Science Education Standards in mind, it includes thematic science units the students can relate to: Communication; Home; Medicine; Predictions; Sports; Transportation and Light Up My Life.

- Chemistry in the Community (ChemCom), 4th edition, is a high school chemistry textbook and is organized around societal issues. Through guided inquiry, in learning content and evaluating data, students make decisions based on their knowledge and data. Students learn more organic and biochemistry than in traditional courses, as well as some environmental and industrial chemistry.

- Science in a Technical World is an interdisciplinary unit-based curriculum for grades 9 through 12, developed by the Education Division of the American Chemical Society, with support from the National Science Foundation. Students investigate a wide range of problems faced by science technicians in a typical work day. The program utilizes an active learning approach that requires students to integrate knowledge and skills.
