On-Site School-Based Testing Services and ConsultationSchool girl

We provide school-based testing and behavioral consultation services in area public school districts and private schools. School-based testing services include all type of testing required for the determination of special education eligibility, including cognitive ability, achievement, memory functioning, social/emotional/behavioral and evaluation for psychiatric disorders. Increasingly, Clinic staff members provide Functional Behavioral Analyses in schools for specific behavioral concerns of identified students. Clinicians understand that children often function differently within their natural environments. Often, the best way to understand their behavior is to observe them where they live and learn. Functional Behavioral Analysis helps teachers and caregivers understand the function of child behavior within the classroom, home or community environment. Clinic staff members also identify antecedents to the behaviors that are considered disruptive to effective classroom instruction, learning and living and then work with school staff and caregivers to substitute preferred behaviors.
