    • Accreditation Assistantship

      • This .50 Graduate Assistantship for the CoE Accreditation website will be to design and maintain the website from January 2010 through May 2011. This half-time position in the Associate Dean for Academic Programs Office that works directly with Dr. Linda Bennett, Tim Parshall, Lisa Sireno, Jonathan Steffens in the MoSTEP & TEAC efforts for the College of Education.

        Submit a cover letter that includes your qualifications and a resume to Dr. Linda Bennett, 109 Hill Hall or lb@missouri.edu by November 15, 2009. A committee will review the applications and selected individuals will be interviewed.

        Skills and qualifications needed:

        Required Skills

        • Design and maintain the College of Education website for the MoSTEP & TEAC accreditation efforts
          Competent in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat (PDF), Blackboard
        • Works well in a collaborative team environment
        • Well organized and possess a high level of attention to detail
        • Comfortable with online environment, familiarity with basic HTML
        • Strong interpersonal skills to work with faculty, students and staff 
        • Able to work independently without supervision

          Preferred Skills (not required but a plus)

        • Knowledge of higher education and some knowledge of educator preparation  
        • Experience with audio/visual capture and distribution - YouTube, Vimeo, etc..
        • Web Design - Dreamweaver/Photoshop or equivalent, basic understanding of code/tags.
        • Online Security

         Duties Include  

        • Maintain the College of Education website for the MoSTEP & TEAC accreditation efforts 
        • Active in maintaining online services during the accreditation site visits 
        • Gives presentation to faculty groups  
        • Assists other campus departments with web based information 
        • Occasional nights and weekends required (Feb. 24 – March 2, 2011)
