Work Experience


David Jonassen is currently a Curators' Professor at the University of Missouri-Columbia in the School of Information Science & Learning Technologies. While at the University of Missouri he has taught for SISLT: Seminar on Problem Solving, Computers as Cognitive Tools, Designing Problem-Based Learning Environments, Research in Instructional Systems Technology, Needs Assessment, Analyzing and Designing Systems (Systems Dynamics), and Task Analysis. For Educational Psychology Jonassen has taught Individual Differences, Learning, and Instruction; Conceptual Change; Advanced Human Learning, and Cognition, Learning, and Instruction. Jonassen has also been a professor at Penn State, the University of Colorado at Denver, and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
