Brief Biography


Connie Brooks is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is a Licensed Psychologist in the State of Missouri and a clinician/supervisor at the Assessment and Consultation Clinic. She supervises advanced graduate students in providing therapy and evaluations to children, adults, families, and groups and provides these direct services to community and university-based clients as well. She regularly teaches the Interdisciplinary Child and Family Practicum course. Her expertise is with child trauma and attachment, clinical supervision, behavior management, family dynamics, and community resource collaboration.

Supervisory Experience

Established training partnership with Boys and Girls Town of Missouri to allow supervised service provision of youth residents in that setting (2010)

Development and subsequent supervision of Counseling Intern position (2009)

Established cross-training program with the Department of Psychiatry (2009)

Supervision of graduate students in provision of psychoeducational and psychological evaluations (September 2008-current)

Established the Interdisciplinary Child and Family Practicum in 2008
