    Brief Biography


    Connie Brooks is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is a Licensed Psychologist and Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Missouri. She has previously worked with foster families with regard to behavior management, reunification, adoption and establishing permanency plans. Her expertise is with child trauma, behavior management, family dynamics, and community resource collaboration. Her responsibilities at the Clinic include individual and family counseling, psychological evaluations, school consultation and supervision of graduate students. Course instruction includes Human Learning, Group Methods, and the Child and Family Interdisciplinary Practicum course. She has received the High Flyer Teaching Award from the MU College of Education and is a faculty member of the Missouri Prevention Program.
