Brief Biography


Andy Knoop is a licensed psychologist in the State of Missouri and is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational, School and Counseling Psychology. Prior to joining the faculty at MU in 2004, he worked with individuals, families and adolescents for over 25 years in public schools, faith-based settings and as a private marriage and family therapist. Andy oversees and coordinates the clinical assessment process for children and adults, which includes comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations. Additionally, he provides consultation for a number of state and community agencies, provides clinical supervision for departmental graduate students and is actively involved in the Clinic's research, grant writing and teaching efforts. He has been awarded the High Flyer Teaching Award from the MU College of Education.
