Welcome to the Mizzou College of Education
The College of Education will help you obtain your initial teacher certification, pursue graduate education or advance as a professional in the education field. Current students and alumni agree — the college offers an environment of learning and discovery for researchers and developing teachers.
College's offerings for:
Founded in 1868, the college is celebrating 140 years of inspiring the enterprise of learning and discovery in 2008. Many of the college's 3,395 students are on MU's campus, but an increasing number of graduate students are located across the country taking advantage of various distance learning options.
Community members and researchers tap into the college's research centers and outreach services to improve their communities and schools.

Sometimes the best guidance comes from inside. MU senior Bryan VanGronigen found that out when he visited the University of Missouri campus before his freshman year of college. At the time, he was deciding between attending Mizzou or Auburn University. His visit made the decision easy; he knew Mizzou was the place for him. It just felt right.
