K-12 Education

Students wishing to study special education, art education or music education — either vocal or instrumental — obtain certification from Mizzou to teach from kindergarten through high school. 

A variety of field experiences and coursework will expose students to all grade levels, helping you to decide which grade best suits your interests.

In each emphasis, you will integrate theory with practice through field experiences, which begin during sophomore year.
