The Allen Institute
The Allen Institute for Research on Learning, Information & Technology provides a unifying and dynamic umbrella for the research and development activities of faculty, staff, and students in the School of Information Science & Learning Technologies (SISLT). The Allen Institute offers an infrastructure of support and collaborative space wherein the vital inquiry of SISLT can be enhanced.
Digital Media Zone
The Digital Media ZONE is about learning by doing. It is a place were you can receive help and support from those who have the knowledge and skills, but where you are ultimately responsible for your own learning. The ZONE mentors do not teach you. Instead, they help you learn by providing guidance and support while you learn by doing. We are here to help you learn how to develop web sites, produce digital media, build Internet applications, and rule the world with your brilliance and creativity. (Well, that last part is really mostly up to you!)
The Information Experience Laboratory
The purpose of the Information Experience Laboratory (IE Lab) is to provide a state of the art usability facility to foster, support and advance research, development and teaching in educational technologies at the University of Missouri, specifically focusing on projects developed by educational, non-profit and private organizations that will enhance the user experience of educational technology and will develop economic opportunity in the state of Missouri.
The Reflector
The Reflector is an integral part of the College of Education Teacher Development Program at the University of Missouri-Columbia. This extraordinary lab combines the print and non-print resources for teacher development into a unique environment filled with instructional materials and technology. The Reflector provides a new concept in technological support in teaching and learning environments through its top-notch staff. The design of the Reflector's surroundings enhance cooperative learning, inquiry, and reflection for students, faculty, and pre-K-12 educators.
SISLTcast
