Applying to MMEET

The following types of individuals are eligible to participate in the MMEET Program:

1.     Men who are working on their elementary education certification.

2.     Men who already have their elementary certification and/or bachelor’s degree and are currently teaching.

3.     Men and women who are working with boys and/or men teachers in elementary school settings (e.g., school principals, counselors, et al.).

4.     Men who are teaching at the Middle School, Junior High, and Senior High School levels.

   HOW TO APPLY TO THE MMEET PROGRAM:

1.  Please contact the MMEET Coordinator, Amy Lannin, or Director, Roy Fox, to indicate your interest in applying for the program. You will receive complete instructions, along with due dates, etc. The Program’s Seminar typically begins during the month of September and runs through June or July.

2.  Please submit the following materials:

  • Resume or vita, including full contact information for five professional references.  
  • A statement outlining your strengths as a teacher and an explanation of why you are interested in the MMEET program.
  • Two letters of reference from professionals who can speak to your teaching and communication abilities.

3.  Completed applications must be received by May 15.
