Mental Health Practices in Schools
The mental health curriculum is for professionals who work with children and adolescents, including teachers, administrators, psychologists, counselors, nurses, social workers, speech/language pathologists and occupational therapists.
This program is designed to equip professionals to address the significant mental health issues facing today's schools. Professionals will gain awareness of these issues, knowledge of how they affect student academic and social performance, and the skills to promote positive student outcomes. In addition, the program is designed to provide professionals with the awareness and skills to promote their own resilience and mental well-being.
