Giving to ESCP
MU’s Department of Educational, School, and Counseling Psychology (ESCP) has a long tradition of excellent in teaching, research and service thanks to our outstanding faculty. The faculty in each of ESCP’s four program areas—Educational Psychology, School Psychology, Counseling Psychology, and Health Education and Promotion— work closely with students through our professional education programs and our research-based centers including the Assessment and Consultation Center, Career Center, Coalition for Cultural Competency, Counseling Center, and Missouri Prevention Center to improve the lives of individuals of all ages and circumstances. ESCP’s tradition of excellence will continue well into the future, thanks to the continued support of our alumni and friends.
Here are a few highlights about ESCP and our faculty. The Counseling Psychology Program and the School Psychology Program are accredited by the American Psychological Association. The Counseling Psychology Program is ranked 9th in the nation according to the 2010 U.S. News and World Report. Our faculty and students are highly productive scholars and researchers. We are home to Norman C. Gysbers who is the founder of the Comprehensive School Guidance and Counseling Program. It has also been adapted for use by the school of Hong Kong and several other countries.

Please support ESCP in one of the following ways:
- Endowed faculty chair in Educational Psychology, School Psychology, or Counseling Psychology.
- Endowed fund to support 10 half-time graduate teaching assistants per academic year.
- Endowed fund to support student travel to conferences to present research.
- Endowed fund to support additional scholarships in the areas of Educational Psychology, School Psychology, Counseling Psychology, and Health Education and Promotion.
