The MU Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis values your generosity. Private gifts lift the department to new levels, in terms of students, facilities, faculty and programs, and help secure MU as a top destination for future generations of educational professionals and looked to as a leader among colleagues around the world.

Private giving enables the college to fulfill its mission to "Educate Missouri, Our Nation and Our World."

Where your gift is needed

  • Establishment of a Distinguished Lecture Series that invites experts from the state and nation to speak on educational leadership and policy.
  • Funding to sustain the New Leaders Project, which is developing a new generation of leaders for the St. Louis Public School District.
  • Funding for the educational renewal activities of the Hook Center, which assists districts in the creation and maintenance of a performance culture that helps all students succeed.
  • Creation of an enhanced technology library for faculty and student's research and teaching activities, including: projectors, video cameras, recording equipment and laptops.
  • Remodel conference room space to achieve facility- and technology-levels equivalent to that of corporations.
  • Creation of an endowed chair in community college leadership, which will help students transition from a two-year program to a four-year programs.
